Re: HELP!: new car, wut to do??????????

I would definately recommed some type of protection for the paint, be it either a good wax or polish. Same with the chrome. I'd look at a good chrome polish as well.

There are alot of options and opinions, so you need to decide what works best for you, ie; how much time, money, and effort you want to spend.

Best of luck. I have my own opinions on products I use and like...in case you're interested.

Re: HELP!: new car, wut to do??????????

Well, IMO, I like Zaino. (just my opinion everyone, before the flaming begins )

If it were me, I'd spend the time and money on a good product. I'd recommend washing the car in 'Dawn' dish detergent to remove any old wax, and then use Zaino, or another high quality polish. There are alot of good waxes & polishes, as I said earlier, and I'm sure you'll receive alot of opinions. But, IMO, nothing lasts or shines, like Zaino.

I highly recommend you protect the paint though. And preparing the paint for wax/polish is just as important. Taking the time to decide what works best for you then using it correctly will get you the results you want.

If you want my opinions and what I use in detailing cars, send me a PM.

It isn't sold in stores, only on-line or through a distributor.
