hand waxing vs. buffer

Post hand waxing vs. buffer

what are the pros and cons of both. i always hand wax my car because i am inexpirenced with a buffer. i have a buffer and need some tips on not messing up my paint.

Well if all you're doing is waxing, then applying by hand works just fine. And if you're inexperienced with using a buffer then I wouldn't try it on your car, especially on the bumpers because you can burn the paint easily. You should get lots of practice before trying anything like that on a good car. The only time a buffer touches my car is to repair deep swirl marks and scratches. I always apply polishes and waxes by hand.
