Getting scratchs out...
I was wundering how would you get scratchs that arent either fine scratchs or that m3 swirls romoval wont take out?
I think most people say you can buff then out, but how do you go about doing that?
Also would compounds work? If so could you please explain it because i don't know that much about compounds.
Thanks,
Brian

I've been pretty successful with a combination of Meguiars dual action cleaner polish (DACP), followed up by Meguiars swirl free polish, followed by a light glaze, followed by a good wax (I use S100 or carnauba Moose from ClearKote). I do it by hand. I bet the results would be even better with a buffer.
I would only use "compounds" for very bad scratches or scuffs, and then it would be a liquid polishing compound, the liquid rubbing compound is very abrasives, these products are best applied with a buffer like the Porter Cable.
