Getting car buffed at Body Shop?

My local body is charging me 100.00 to buff the car and i just wanted to know if its really worth it? Does it get rid of alot of scratehs and marks? Will it bring back a deep shine to the paint?

ya it can! but make sure you have seen car's that they have buffed and look at them close for buff mark's also called track marks if they are just polishing it with a machine glaze or a sterio glaze you dont need to wory about buff marks. But if they are doing a compound job then polishing it out you may get some tracking in the clear. Like i said look at some cars they have done and look at them in the sun and at all angles if you see buff marks or tracks don't let them put a buffer on your car. $100.00 sound's right for a polish job but shuld be more if they need to compound. Hope this helps and do your homewoork on this.

Do they look like holograms in your paint in the sun or under bright lights?

Usually polishing the car with a FOAM pad will remove any "Swirl" marks a WOOL pad might have made by cutting the clearcoat a little bit, have someone use a Foam pad on your car with some polish
