Post found a good tire dressing!

Hey guys, just wanted to inform you of something I tried out this weekend. I had this bottle of Mothers Back to Black sitting on the shelf for a long time, and had used it a few times on the cowl with good results. So this weekend when I finished washing the car, I decided to try it out on the tires. It worked beautifully! Once it dried it was not greasy, and made the tires look very black, with a slight gloss. I am going to start using it all the time. It had a price of 4.95 on the bottle, but it was an old bottle. Best thing was I didn't have to use very much.

Hmmm...I may have to check that out. Although since I have found the tire gel, I will have a hard time going back to a spray.

The gel is great cause you can just squeeze some on a sponge and wipe it on the tire. You don't have to worry about overspray or anything, which is really annoying after you get done washing and drying!

yeah, it is. Although mine wasn't very jelly-ish. It was more liquid, but my bottle was probably 5 years old.

I use a Turtle Wax Tire Wax on my Z and it works pretty good w/out slinging off. Its prob. cheaper than the others too.

Blackmagic extreme tire gel works great for me and is the best product i have found.....and spray just a little no touch tire foam after that and it really seals in the shine for about a week.and trust me i have tried EVERYTHING at least a thousand dollars in tire products in the last two years.

Thumbs up

Another vote for the gel. I used Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss, two coats with the foam applicator. Two words: BLING BLING
