"Finally!" 56K warning

I spent almost all day washing, polishing and waxing my Z and it came out pretty good! It still has OEM paint and some dings but for a 94 I guess its still in nice shape. My hands are barely able to type

rubbing compound
followed by polishing compound
followed by clay bar
followed by scratchX
followed by KIT car wax
followed by buffing the **** out of it!

Yeah it does kind of suck 1 trip down the road and back will make it dusty. When I first got the car I had to make a special trip to the car wash to give you an idea the back bumper felt like sand paper! but now that its all pretty again just a rain or a sprinkle with a garden hose will now take that dust right off

What brand did you use. Zanio, Meguiars, Mothers, Turtle Wax, other?

Looks good.

Spend some time with those wheel wells.... i spent half a day washing, scrubbing, and then painting mine (pulled the wheels off and taped up, of course). I used some kind of black underbody coating (3M?). Makes a big difference when looking from the side to have the wheel wells blacked out. Plus the coating makes subsequent cleanings easier.

Get a California Duster. They work great for light dust applications.

Turtle wax for the rubbing and polishing compound, not sure what brand the clay bar is but the scratchX is Meguiars brand.

The dust isn't THAT bad... especially when it rains. If the car needs to be dust free I usually go to the car wash and spray off the car for $1.50 then use the california water blade to squeegie it dry.
