hey man your mailbox is full so i'll just post it here..


my friend just got his car painted with a clearcoat.

how long does he have to wait before applying the zaino?

and do you reccomend he dawn and clay the car before he applyes the zaino?

I'm not KevinSS, but I'll try to answer your questions. Sal Zaino himself said to wait about 2 weeks before applying Zaino on fresh paint. AFAIK, you can apply it right away, but it's better to wait 2 weeks in case you notice any imperfections that need to be corrected. Dawn yes, but Z7 carwash will also do the job according to Sal. If he only waits 2 weeks, I don't see a need for claying, but it should be done every 4-5 months.
