Expected cost for painting front clip

I haven't had a car painted since the 90's, and not really sure how much pricing has gone up. I want the entire front clip of my red camaro painted, and then blended into the doors. I had heard back in the day about $250 per panel was a good rough estimate. That would put me at about $1000 plus the cost of blending. I am assuming prices have gone up, is 1500 or more out of line?

so you want the front clip, both fenders and the doors done?
The whole doors, are you blending them? I think you could maybe just clear them. What exactly are you looking to have done, its unclear.
Have you thought about just doing the clip and wet sanding and buffing the other panels yourself?

want to have the hood, front bumper, and both front fenders painted. I am assuming I will need to blend into the doors because it would be obvious where the car was painted.

why don't you just get it all painted if you're doing half the car... just save a little longer, it'll be well worth it...

I just wanted to fix the front bumper because the clear coat was chipping away. The rest of the car looks pretty good, plus I don't want it to nice because my HPDE days tend to do some damage to the car. The bumper was just eating me up inside when I had to look at it.

i would just do the front clip or do the whole car. Give the rest of the car a few coats of polish and call it a day.

forgot to post this in last reply.
The front half of the car is going to cost you between 1300 and 2000(guessing). Depending on many things with the shop. Mainly the amount of prep and finish sanding afterwards.

I would say closer to $2000. If all your mainly fixing is the bumper you could save yourself some money and do just the bumper, hood and fenders, you can blend the fenders instead of completly painting them and blending the doors. Too bad you dont live closer i could really save you some money.

X2.... If there isn't anything wrong with the fenders just blend the paint within the fenders and spray the hood.
