Drying car off?

Question Drying car off?

What are you guys using to dry off your car after you wash it. Do chamoise or shamy or however you spell it work well. I shouldnt ever use bath towels tho right? THanx

Fieldcrest Charisma bath towels, white in color, edges removed, only washed with liquid detergent (no powder) are probably the safest thing many car owners can use to dry their cars, I also use The Absorber which is a man made chamois.

Here is a trick for you, after you have the last of the soap rinsed off, take the sprayer nozzle OFF of the hose and turn the water on a slow steady stream and let it run from the top to bottom all down the sides and so forth on the car, this will create a sheeting effect and wisk away about 95% of the standing water droplets.

I use the Absorber and I have also had excellant luck using a good leaf blower. The leaf blower will get all the water out of the nooks & crannies. Then use a good towel or the aborber to finish up.
