Detailing Help - Claybar I think? Tips?

ok I've got some areas I want to try and take care of, I think it calls for a claybar. I was wondering if that was the case and looking for tips claybaring for the first time.

Here is spot one, Lower part of my bumper, kinda by License Plate:

This is another spot, on the top of my bumper, above the licsense plate, under the DS tail light.

those lool like scratches and swirlmarks. a claybar isnt going to help. if you want to do the car right, claybar the whole car and then buff out the scratches. claybaring is really not hard. just make a soap and water mixture in a spray bottle and spray the area your are working on an just rub the clay over it with light to moderate pressure. when it feels smooth just wipe the area with a clean cotton towel. if you dont have a good buffer or have never used one i would suggest a porter cable model# 7424. you can get kits that include the buffer and pads on ebay for about $170.

Is that rotary? I don't want to burn my paint.

no it as an orbital. i just used it on mine. It takes a little more work than a rotary but you wont burn the paint. does a real nice job

Most of the buffers/orbitals you buy at autozone wont ruin your paint as long as you dont buff it dry. They simply dont have a lot of power.

The porter cable model# 7424 works grate and you won't burn the paint. I use it on my car all the time to apply wax. I also have a real buffer that'll eat through paint in a sec and the porter cable won't do that.
