Hey guys,

I usually post in the LT1 section, but I thought I'd venture out a little to show off my new site www.detailfx.ca

I've been in the automotive reconditioning industry since 2000, and started my detailing business in 2006 out here, on Vancouver Island.

Check it out, there are some sweet F-bodies in the gallery that you'll probably love.

Cheers,
Fil

Good luck with the business man. Had my own little detail business for a while, but never got enough business to make it worth while. Now I just do it in my spare time if I feel like it, so basically almost never. lol

Thanks man! It's been a good little venture for me. Seasonal, just from May - Oct really, but it's enough to keep me busy through the summer, and makes enough money for me to invest back into my car! Can't go wrong there!

Ya, I used to really enjoy detailing too, so that made it even better, that is until I got a job at a dealership detailing and had to do it every day. lol Made me a hell of a lot faster though! Now I get paid to sit on my *** 90% of the day and I make more than if I would have had a florishing detailing business, so detailing for work is really something I dont want to do for the most part. lol Might have to do it again in my spare time when I buy a house if I want to keep modding and restoring. lol Good way of makin extra dough though.

I'm on the same page as you are... I don't do any dealership business. As you can see on my site, I just stick to the specialty cars out there, and retail end of the biz. Dealerships can suck the life out of you!

I'm actually building a shop in early 2009 next to my house to bring in a little more biz. Should be a good move. Can't go wrong with more shop space!
