Post A couple Zaino tips for newbies (or oldies that need advice)

For years I had been applying my Z2 to the applicator in just a small quarter-sized blob in the middle and then rubbing it onto my car. I've found it works a lot better if you spray the applicator twice with Z6 (gloss enhancer) then make a squiggly line horizontally across the pad, and run 2 straight lines through it, almost so that it looks like a $ sign. Then spread it evenly across the pad with your fingers. It goes on much more evenly this way. I do the top, hood, and rear of the car, re-apply Z2 to the pad, then do one side, then the other (don't use as much on the sides as you did for the top, front, and back). My car shines much better than it did before using this technique.

Spritzing the pad definitely helps in being able to spread the polish thin. Getting the pad initially covered with polish helps the rest of the application on the car.

Thumbs up

Sounds like a good idea!

Maybe another way would be to use two pads, both Z-6'ed, using one pad to smear the polish around on the other one.

Then you could use both to do the whole car!

Thoughts?
