cleaning silicone grease

i heard that applying some silicone grease to the rubber seals around the windows and doors is a good idea. so i decided to get the cheapest stuff, which happened to be in a tub. i went a bit overboard with it, unfortunately. i wiped the extra off with a paper towel, but in the meantime, some of the grease got on my windows, leaving streaks that i havent been able to get out. the more i try to get them out, the more they smudge. any suggestions?

Re: cleaning silicone grease

You may end up having to use Dawn dish washing liquid. It'll remove the silicone from the rubber and the wax from your paint, so you'll end up having to redo those things.
