cleaning the LS-1

Can you hose down the LS-1? With my LT-1 I was too afraid to because of the opti.

But since the LS-1 is coil on plug, can I occasionally use an engine degreaser/detailer to completely clean it off? I normally use a rag and spray degreaser on everything, but would like to use the foaming hose off degreasers to get into all the nooks and crannies.

Any and all suggestions appreciated! thanks!

You're okay spraying it down as long as you don't use full pressure and try not to focus on the computer area.

Simple green works nicely, but there are some special engine degreasers out there. There was a thread about that the other day in S&S.

Oh yes, and pressure washers work nicely on the ECM
