Question Cleaning/Detailing

Okay first off, when you guys dry off your cars - I usually use a 100% cotton terry towels to do it but on my black car it leaves cotton or little fine hairs from the towel. How do you guys dry it without leaving all that crap on it?.

2nd - What his the highest speed buffer or a good buffer to buy to get out swirls and polish a car really well.

Thanks for your help

Same here. Water blade (carefully), absorber/cotton towel(s), electric leaf blower.

You could always wait untill the car dries completely after you use a towl on it and then use a duster

The Toro Turbo electric leaf blower will dry your car in 10-15 minutes with 215 mph air. I swear by them and they go faster than any car. They cost $60. US and can be bought at Home Depot or any hardware store. Get one.

As for a buffer I use a Porter Cable random orbital buffer/polisher at about 2500 RPMs. I believe it can run at speeds of up to 6K RPMs. I would not recommend buffing at any speed over 3K RPMs though.
