Claying, before and after

Claying, before and after

Top half is clayed, bottom half isn't. I went over the spots again on the top (there's a few spots left in the pic, just wanted to show the comparo). This was done on a brand new 2 day old 2005 Ford Excursion.

See the thing is that no matter how close I look, I don't ever see spots like that. I've never really been able to tell a visual difference after claying... whether near or far away. If I put a baggy on my hand and feel the surface of the paint before and after on a car that has never been clayed before, yeah I can tell some difference. But anyway... I didn't clay my fiancee's 05 4Runner before putting down my first coat of Zaino.. I just couldn't bring myself to go to the extra effort (I was already pressed for time anyway) when it was brand new and try as I might I couldn't see or feel any dirt on the surface.

What color is the car? You won't see rail dust with any other color but white.
