Thought I'd chime in for a second. I have been cleaning up the ride since Wednesday afternoon. Not that it was really dirty or anything, did the whole Zaino treatment.

Must say that claybar'n the car is well worth the time and elbow grease.... Like you said, it leaves the paint so smooth. Along with the 7 coats of Z5 and Z2 the car looks amazingly shiny.

Yeah clay is pretty good. I bought the meguiars quick detail clay. You don't get much clay but it did take off a lot of crud and made the car look better. I used that with nxt shampoo, meguiars scratchx, and meguiars nxt gen wax. Car looks awesome. The clay is very useful for getting off bugs, tar, and sap. I couldnt really see anything like that on my car cuz its black but my dad was very happy when i got all the tar and overspray on his lexus. It made it look like new and was pretty easy to do.

Claybar is extremely useful (at least the Zaino brand of it). I've had to have a few parts of my SS repainted and the claybar takes overspray completely off.

Detailing clay was first called "Overspray clay" when it came out. Then people found other uses for it....

Zaino clay is the same exact brand as Mother's clay, and Autopia clay, right down to the packaging and part number. I have pics to prove it. There are only 2-3 detailing clay suppliers in the United States, and these companies get their clay from them, repackage it and sell it.
