Look for some engine detailing stuff made by CD2.. Use that and polish up as much as you can under the hood!!

Here's a few.....
>Take the wheels off before you clean them, and give them a good scrubbing inside and out...makes a big difference if they are dirty behind the spokes or inside the wheels.
>If the wheels wells are looking shabby, clean them with a stiff brush and good cleaner, and after they are fully dry, tape up the wheel lips and black out the wells/liners with either black paint or rubberized undercoating.
>After the clay bar,if you're not using a wax system like Zaino, use some 3M Imperial Hand Glaze (or the consumer equivalent) before waxing to help hide any swirls/scratches and bring out the color...makes a helluva difference on a dark car (like burgundy!)
>When dressing the tires, wipe the dressing on with a saturated rag,and make sure that you don't spray the silicone dressing anywhere near the waxed car (leaves lots of tiny spots on the paint if it travels in the air onto the car).I always dress the tires before the waxing stage to eliminate any chance of this problem.
Hope this helps a bit.........
