My car got keyed a while back and the car looks clean when I wax it.
It's got some swirl marks on it paints not that bad but it's not perfect.
So today I got some duplicolor and brush over the scratch.
Now the scratch is gone.
But how do blend it in and get rid of the ridge of paint?
Make it smooth.

Try using rubbing and finishing compounds to smooth it out

then wax on wax off daniel-san

 

what u need is a clear coat cutter, wizard pruducts makes turbo cut, which would level it, 3m also makes a great product, I forget the name of theirs, but its the compound that is one step heavyier than the swirl mark remover, hit it with one of these and then a swirl mark remover, then wax as normal. Just be sure to use light pressure and do not over cut.
