Bumper Painting

I got rearended a while back and need to repaint it... whats the best way to sand and prep for paint?

Due to the stress cracks in the paint, you'll want to strip it completely. In the interest of time, use a DA. I wouldn't go any coarser on the paper than 180 grit to start, finishing with 320 as you get down to the plastic. Once it's stripped, shoot a few coats of high-build primer with flex agent added. From there, block sand with 320 and finish with 600. Seal/paint/sand/polish, then stand back and admire your work. That's actually my project for the weekend, so maybe I'll post pics if I remember to snap them.
