Buffing Windshield

Has anybody ever tried to buff their windshield using some glass buffing compound? Just curious to see what the results were and if it took out the minor scratches and imperfections in the windshield?

I recently buffed my windshield, exterior side glass, and rear glass with PC (yellow cutting pad) and Zaino Z12. Did a great job at removing repairable blemishes. Easy to use product by hand or PC. You will not believe what is actually ( invisible crud) on your glass until you use such a product. Makes the glass sparkle.

What I use, of course you have to have the PC first...

Make sure you order the Lake Country 7.5" pads for the PC with 6" velco backing plate. The 6" pads also sold by topoftheline ( great vendor - excellent prices and turn-around time) are not very good for paint prep.
There is one benefit for buffing glass with the TOL yellow 6" pad. More control around perimeter of windshield, side glass and rear window.
