Brake dust!!!

Every time I clean my rims and go out for a ride when I get home their all covered in brake dust. Is there anything that keeps that stuff off your rims and keeps them looking clean.

Its hard to keep the dust off of them. A coat of wax wafter polishing will make them easier to wipe off. I personally like to wipe them down with armor all or mothers back to black after i clean them. This makes the brake dust wipe right off.

When you change pads, try some ceramic ones. They are supposed to be practically dust free.

You need to either get a set of EBC Greenstuff or not drive your car until the water has dried off the wheels. I have the Greenstuff pads. I use to have to clean my wheels every 2-3 days, but now its every 2-3 washes which is once a month or every other week, and even then it is almost invisible. Pads were $90 and have absolutely no squeak.

there is also a new product out that is made of thin plastic that goes between the hub and the wheel, that makes a barrier between the brake set up and the wheel
