Brake Dust

anyone have a easier way of cleaning the brake dust on the inner part of the wheel without having to take the wheel off? SS 10 spoke wheels...if that helps...

You can try a toilet brush.

Re: Brake Dust

Keeping them protected with a sealant will aid in dust removal.

You might also be interested in the EZ Detail Brush or the new Meguiar's Gold Class wheel brush.

Re: Brake Dust

Get HAWK pads and make FAR less dust therefore theres less to worry about. Be prepared to spend 150 for pads though. They work the nuts though.

Re: Brake Dust

Like they said...
I got a pristine set of salad shooters a couple months back. Cleaned them up really really nice with Eagle 1 wheel cleaner and elbow grease.
I then waxed them inside and out before I put them on my car. It worked great because I still go 3 weeks (been busy ) without cleaning them and the dust and everything comes off like nothing.
It also helps during winter time because you get less of a chance to wash it, and when you finally do, it'll come off nice. Hopefully I can do this to my RS wheels before winter hits, although I don't drive it often this time of year.
