Borla tips

Any ideas for cleaning Borla Stainless exhaust tips? I've tryed several cleaners and rims polishes to no avail. Will the Stainless steel cleaners that restaurants use work very well if i mask off the bumper?

Have you tried EagleOne's NevrDull wadding? Works great for polishing up tips or any metal surface really. Also, Blue Magic makes a metal polish that really cleans up tips.

Try an SOS pad and then go with a metal polish.

I use Brasso and #0000 steel wool on my tips. Works great, and I just finish it off with some Eagle 1 polish. You can get the #0000 steel wool from Home Depot or someplace similar. A bag of it will last you forever, and it's almost as soft as cotton.

I agree w/ John. I've used the bleach white and it works super. My Borla system has been on since '95. Tips look great after bleach white. Finished them off w/ brasso. Hope this helps!
