How do you take care of the black part of the car right next to the driver/passenger side of the window. My car is a 96 Polo Metallic Green car and for the most part the paint is in great condition but that part of the car seems to be loosing its color/fading. Sorry I don't have a pic but its right above the doors and next to the windows. Also how do you take care of the black area around the headlights. These two parts have to be the worst looking pieces on my car. I also have t-tops and the divider in the middle I believe is made of the same material as the black parts next to the door and they have some streaks that are tought to get off. Any help would be appreciated.

On my friends 96 we would use a mild compound like 3M Swirl Mark Remover and then Zaino on the head light area and the t top area and use a tire or trim dressing on the plastic part by the window.

There are many Zaino distributors in CA if you are interested..

 

You could use back to black, or any tire shine gel.
