black paint w/ metal flake?

I was at work the other day prepping an Acura a customer had just bought and it had black paint but looked like blue flake in it...I thought it was pretty nice looking in the right light but just pure black in the garage area...

Has anyone put some metal flake in their black paint? I was thinking about what colors would look best and I believe that a red flake would look VERY nice with some other red accents like badges and the rear lettering... any thoughts?

My subaru has what is called Obsidian Black Pearl. If you look at it in the right light, it has blueish flakes like you are describing. I really like it.

The new Suzuki ZX-7?? little SUV has a neat black metallic that appears black inside a garage or in the dark but if you shine a light at it but has blue flake in it. Very nice color.

The honda color that you saw was Nighthawk Black Pearl. with a serious wax job under the right light you can see it. Just talk to the paint shop and see what they have. you can do a red pearl in the clear, but too much will turn pink. easy on the metal flake or else it will look like something from low rider magazine.
