to get rid of the smell from the smoker that owned his truck before he did... how to permenantly get rid or that smell????

 

Try shampooing it, my car smelled like **** when one of my friends ripped one in my car, and shampooing did the trick, if that seems to fail, try Ozium.

 

At night pour lemon ammonia into a tray (1/2 bottle) on the passenger floor board turn the heat on high and re-circulate the air in the car for 30-40 minutes once hot. Let set overnight and then detail the interior out including wiping down the entire interior the ammonia will attach to the nicotine/tar film from the cig's and then use your favorite air freshener, I put a glass jar of sent in the passenger cup holder and it smells great for 4 months or so, also if you shampoo any of the interior use a cleaner with a citrus base to help neutralize the smell as well...........J
