Question Best way to take care of Chrome Rims?

I have a New Set of Chrome 10 Spoke 2000 SS rims on the way, and I'm wondering what's the best way to take care of them after I get them? I'd like to try to keep them break dust free..if that's possible Can I Zaino them when I do the rest of the car? Or is there a Special Chrome Polish I should use? Right now I have the Painted 10 Spokes and Zaino them and that works Great..just not sure about the Chrome...

I can't wait to get them and see them on the car!

Sure you can use Zaino on chrome, and that would probably the best way to keep them clean. Actually, Zaino can be applied to almost any exterior surface including plasitcs without discoloring or doing damage in any way since it's nonabrasive. Those SS wheels will look great with Zaino anyway!

You will love the 10 spoke chrome wheels... I certainly do! To take care of them, I clean them with car soap and water when I wash the rest of the car. They are the last thing I do and I use an old wash mit that is just for the wheels. Then I will Z-2/z-5 them along with the rest of the car if it's polish time, otherwise just use some z-6 to make them slick. Sometimes I will wipe them down after the first drive following a wash because of the surface rust coming off of the disks will coat them. After that, they stay pretty clean.

Thanks Guys! I can't wait to get them! I've got Zaino already and am going to use it as soon as I get the wheels, before they go on the car.. Now where's Summer? I want some sun

I ONLY use soap and water to wash mine ever since I actually witnessed some wheel/chrome cleaner eat away at my roommate's ZR1s.
I wash the whole car, and just as LaSSt One said "I use an old wash mit that is just for the wheels" and I dry the wheels off last too, that way you don't have water drip on them afetr you dry them.
But, I do suggest you try some Mother's Chrome Polish. After the wheels are dry, I put this on each wheel, and then go back to the first wheel, and wipe it off, and to the next, etc...
this stuff really works wonders. After you wash them in soap and water, they look really clean. But after you use this polish, they look REALLY clean. Try it out, its only $5 at most stores.
Oh yeah, don't forget the tire dressing. Chrome shouldn't be driven without tire dressing

Since the wheels are new and clean, just wash them with the Z-7 and add a few coats of Zaino, it really makes them shine and REAL easy to keep clean.

Thanks Everyone..My main concern is the front Brake dust. That stuff is horrible! but I do wash my car every weekend, or close to it weather permitting. And I'm hoping once I get some Zaino on there, that it will help keep that stuff off. I also don't want to worry about them rusting since I live in Washington (the rainy state, where we don't tan, we rust). I am VERY happy with Zaino so far and how it works on the paint, I won't use anything else, and I am pretty confident that it will work just as well on the Wheels

Still can't wait to get them so I can put them on the car!
