best way to remove 3 years of Meguiars from tires?
I would like to remove 3 years worth of Meguiars tire care since its gotten kinda chunky and put a fresh coat on, any tips for easily removing it?
Re: best way to remove 3 years of Meguiars from tires?
Be careful with that degreaser though, if you use something like Simple Green. That stuff is strong and I believe can eat off your paint (atleast that's the worry people have about the engine bay cleaning.)

Degreaser sounds a little aggressive. I'd go with a stiff brush and car soap. If you are not getting anywhere with that, then maybe some dawn dishwashing soap. I had build up from this stuff, just a stiff brush did the trick for me.

Stop using silicone-based tire dressings and you won't have this problem anymore.
Some heavily dish-soap-laden water and a scrub brush followed by wesley's bleech white should take care of any and everything on the tires. Follow immediately with some decent tire dressing, like 303 Aerospace protectant.
