Lightbulb best wax?

I did a search, and I couldn't believe nothing came up for wax!

I work at a dealership, so I will be utilising the detail shop to buff out, polish and wax my bird. Problem is, with the budget cutbacks, they no longer carry very good wax. They polish the cars and send them down the road.

So, what wax works the best as far as longevity? I always wash my car by hand, so I want the wax to last a long time. But, I also dont want it to be a mess either. I was used to using ardex paste in a can, and that stuff rocked!

Let me know what everyone uses and how long it lasts in-between waxing.

Thanks!
Cody

Get Zaino. It's the best you can buy.

old school Nu Finish lasts a really long time (4 or so months, w/ weekly washes) it will chalk up on matte plastic but I feel like everyone should invest in some wax mark remover.. Its all in the details.

Zaino does not turn chalky if you get it on the plastic cowl. You can put it on the windows and the little plastic triangle pieces by the windows.

I dont really consider either to be "budget wax" Usually the higher end waxes that you buy for example something from Griots Garage, are higher in concentration of or pure Carnuba. Yeah the stuff looks great on show cars and what not, but you cant expect it to last more then two weeks or so. If you are waxing an everyday driver look for something synthetic.

Dont just pay for a name and a fancy bottle.

The one thing I like about Zaino is it doesn't contain Carnuba so it doesn't add a yellowish tint to the color. It also has an very good long lasting shine to it.

hmm, synthetic, huh? so carnuba is organic I take it? I guess I would rather pay for quality over a name anyday, so what brand is synthetic and will last a couple months? Zaino? Turtle Wax? That Nu Finish stuff?

Carnuba is in fact organic (I think it comes from a type of palm tree).

This Zaino stuff looks like it might be worth trying.

P.S.Always Claybar before you wax!

loved the trial thing! I checked out that website. So how is zaino priced compared to maguires?

Also, Ill be buffing it before I wax, it will be as smooth as a baby's ****.

Zaino will initially be higher than Maguires. However, you will use less Zaino, so the price evens out. I've used lots of different waxes, polishes, sealants over the years, and Zaino is the best I've run across.

The big mistake first time Zaino users make is using to much. Less is best. You just barely want to see it.
