Post Best stuff for interior -- KevinSS, your thoughts?

OK, here's what I've got going inside my ride.

Black leather and the wonderful black vinyl seat backs, door interiors, and the usual TONS of cheap black plastic.

So, what's the best thing to clean the plastic and vinyl with?

I currently use a no-gloss (dull finish) armor all which does a good job of cleaning up the plastic stuff, but it attracts dust real quick and seems to emit a vapor which creates a film on the inside of my windshield.

I use Meguier's for the leather and vinyl.

I don't want high gloss in the cockpit. Zaino says it's not for use on vinyl ... what if I "oops" and get some on the vinyl seat backs or door padding?

Thanks for the replies.

Don't know where you read that Zaino is not to on vinyl???? The Z-10 Leather in a Bottle, Z-9 Cleaner, and Z-16 Tire Gloss are all supposed to be used on vinyl. Z-9 and Z-10 is the only products I used inside my car.

I think I read that on Zaino's web site.

I'll double check at some point this week.

KevinSS -- Went to Zaino's web site and read about the Z14 for plastic. It says not for use on vinyl.

With the plastic and vinyl being on the same panel in many places in the Camaro, is there something that will work on both?

You are looking at the wrong product.

The Z-14 is polishing compound for lexan and plexiglass, so that product is not for vinyl or any textured plastic surface. Z-9,10, or 16 can all be used on plastic and vinyl.

Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Greg didn't get a chance to Zaino his new Bullitt last weekend ... maybe Sunday afternoon.

I'm holding off on my order until he has a chance to try the Zaino ... 'cuz I know he's going to want to order some too.
