Best Polish?
Mothers makes some good stuff. And Meguiars professional stuff like yellow glaze, etc. . Klasse and Blitz are good too. Durashine and Duragloss (Not Zaino
) are joke.
If you want another great product (besides Zaino), try Blitz or Klasse.

Hmmm, besides Zaino? Didn't know there was anything else! LOL
Seriously though, there are other decent products out there that I would use on relatives cars. As suggested by SS, you might give Klasse a try. It's an acrylic that will darken your paint somewhat after repeated applications. Or, you could find some Liquid Glass. I've used it on a black Chevy Silverado and it looked good afterwards. LG can be found at PepBoys if there's one nearby.
I used the Meguiar's professional Mirror Glaze line for years, but IMHO it's just too much work going through all the steps for the results it gives. You could use the 3 step process: #9 swirl remover, #7 show car glaze, followed by #26 yellow. It won't last very long though after all that hard work...

If you've seen any kind of results, from Zaino, why would you even think about using anything else????

i swear by KLASSE. i've parked my car next to my buddies Zaino'd cars and my results are as good or better, for 1/2 the work and price. KLASSE lasts a long time too when done properly (9-12 mos). great stuff.

Yeah, Klasse is a good product. Certainly better than 98% of the waxes and sealants out there. If Zaino didn't exist, I'd probably be using more of it than I do. It's an old formulation based on old technology, but it works, because it's been around for decades.
I do have to respectfully disagree about Klasse being half the work of Zaino. Klasse can be VERY temperamental if applied wrong. Apply it too thick and you'll wear your arm out to buff it off. Generally, Zaino is a breeze to apply and buff.
Like I said, it's a good product though and shouldn't be overlooked if you want a very durable product other than Zaino, (GASP!

mike,
good post. you're right about KLASSE Glaze being a bitch to get off if applied too thick. but when i said 1/2 the time, i was thinking more along the lines of the KLASSE All-in-one bottle. that stuff really does take care of the multi stepped applications involved in zaino, and for that i prefer the Klasse two bottle kit.
peace.
