Arg! Waterspots. How to get rid of 'em?

Question Arg! Waterspots. How to get rid of 'em?

What will work? I've tried three waxes and they still show up. My car is black and its driving my crazy.

Waterspots can be tough. It really depends on whether the spot has had a chance to etch the paint finish or not as to what type of product you may need. Personally, I'd skip over the clay and go right to a paint cleaner or other mild/moderate abrasive. I'd recommend products such as Meguiar's Body Scrub, 3M Swirl Remover, Meguiar's Dual Action Cleaner/Polish, Meguiar's Premium Paint Cleaner, etc.... And, if the etching is more severe, you may need 3M Fine Cut Compound or Meguiar's Fine or Medium Cut Cleaners. I always had good luck with the Body Scrub on spots, but generally most abrasives will do the trick.
