Applicators

In my quest for pure analness, do any companies sell microfiber applicators? I still think that the Zaino 100% cotton ones cause small hairline scratches occasionally.

Zaino applicators will not cause any scratches, of course hardened polish not cleaned from the bottle cap can cause very light scratches. There are several companies that offer MF applicators, be careful they are all sewn with poly thread no matter what they say, I have a box full of them. Try Autogeek or CMA www.autogeek.net or www.properautocare.com

A question.

I assume poly thread is used on the microfiber towels then as well? even the ultimate ones?

Do you cut the sewn edges off? As I wash mine by hand anyways, maybe this would be a good idea?

Not all mf towels use poly thread, but 90% of the mf towels we test use poly thread. I fold the ends under to keep the area away from the paint.

That might be the cause of my occasional hairline mark, the fact they used poly thread had slipped my mind.

Thanks Carl.
