Anyone use Eagle One Wax??
I hear a lot about Zaino, but am wondering what you guys think of Eagle One? This is what i am using now, and want to know how it compares. I think Eagle gives amazing shine and seems to last a long time too!
And how come there are so many steps with Zaino (Z5,Z2 etc.)?

I am currently using Eagle One WET liquid wax on my car and love it. It is black and shows any inperfections. I also follow up with the eagle one WET wipe & shine which really pops out the color and finish! Both are excellent products.

FWIW, Eagle One wax rates down there with Turtle Wax among serious detailing enthuiasists. I believe E1 is one company that still uses Teflon in their products which was proven to be of absolutely NO benefit to a car's finish. Even DuPont, the maker of Teflon, came out and stated that Teflon is useless in car care products. So, IMHO, E1 is nothing more than a gimmick. If you must stay with store bought waxes, get yourself some Meguiars #26 Hi-Tech Yellow or Medallion. Both are well respected by detailers but those products still have limitations. I've used both and they work well for a carnauba, better than most store bought brands, especially E1 and the like. But, polymer systems are really the way to go for the greatest durability and shine. If you really want to kick things up a notch, give Zaino a try. Or, there are several other polymer/acrylic systems out there if you prefer.

There really aren't MORE steps with Zaino. all top of the line products have various products.
The first step, regardless of what you use, is to prep the car and clay it to remove the contamination. Wash it again to remove any residue. We still haven't even started the polish part of which ever product you plan to use, except a clay bar, of which Zaino does sell the best clay bar I've used.
All sell a car wash, so does Zaino. Now for actually polishing, with Zaino you do use the Z-1 or ZFX the first time. The Z-1 is an extra step, but no more than a glaze with another product and MUCH eaier to apply and it isn't removed. Apply the polish (either Z-2 or Z-5) over the Z-1 and when the polish is dry, buff it off.
WHERE are ALL these extra steps some people think there are.
Zaino also sells an enhancer spray for quick detailing and touch-ups, so do most other top of the line brand products.
The ZFX accelerator, if so inclined, is mixed with the polish before applying it.
Zaino is SO easy to apply and remove and is far easier than any other product I've tried in over 30 years, that alone is worth it to me, BUT there is the shine, the protection and the durability.
But, where are all these extra steps???????
