Question Any tips on cleaning ceramic coating?

The Paul Barry coating on my headers has dulled a little and has gotten a few stains over the past couple of years and I want to get it all cleaned up in preperation for Power Tour. When Paul sent me my headers he said to use either chrome polish or aluminum polish, but I can't remember which! Which one do I use? Does anybody have any personal tips on cleaning ceramic?

Yes, they are. However, Paul said specifically not to use a polish that is for both. Like I said above, he said to use either a chrome polish or an aluminum polish, but I can't remember which!

Maybe somebody has Paul's Email address that they can give me?

I don't think you will find a product that is a metal polish that excludes one or the other.

Well, what brought this up is that I was at the parts store Monday and I went over to the cleaners to pick up some metal polish. They had a bunch of the combo polishes, and a few of each of the chrome polishes, and mag/aluminum polishes.

i would not polish chrome with polish that is not meant for it, and i would not polish aluminum with chrome polish because of it's abrasiveness. i have used mother's mag/aluminum polish on my headers and it works well. when you first start it up you will smell the polish burning, though.
