Another Zaino question: Need help ordering.

My z28 is black. I'm looking into getting some zaino. But which products? I looked at the clear-coated polish; swirl mark scratch polish; and gloss enhancer spray. Are these what I need? Anything else? And is the gloss enhancer spray necessary to get?
Thanks!

If you want to do the full series of steps, I'd get

ZFX (or Z1)
Z2 Polish
Z5 Swirl Remover
Z6 Gloss Enhancer
Z7 Wash
Z18 Clay Bar

And I'd pick up a few extra cotton applicators...

Also, read the info on the TOWELS at www.zainobros.com ... very important! (No matter what you use)

The only thing to remember is not to expect miracles from the Z5 if you have considerable swirling...

Cool

Well, I'd have to second Darth's recommendation, except I'd probably forego the Z2 on black and only use Z5. Z5 will help fill in micromarring, which dark colors usually suffer from. Many users with dark colors only use Z5 for this reason. The difference in gloss between Z2 and Z5 is minimal, however the Z5 goes the extra step to fill in light swirling.

So, I'd probably get ZFX, Z5, Z7.... as a basic starter kit, and any other products you might like as optional. The clay bar and gloss enhancer spray are top quality too, as are the leather products, etc...it's up to you.

Your distributor's name is George I believe in New York. Sorry, don't have his full contact info with me...

I would get the ZFX and just the Z-5 because of the color of your car.

If you do not have any swirls that need filling then the Z-5 is not necessary. Alot of folks with black or other dark colors, where swirls really show, use the Z-5 exclusively to keep the swirls at bay. Depends on the need.

About the waxing tip: On my black car I plan on following Zaino recommendations.

Quote from website:

Want an even higher level of optical light refraction and reflectivety. Here's how. When applying Show Car Polish do the following; On all Top surfaces of vehicle, use a back and forth motion (from front bumper towards windshield). On all Side surfaces (doors, fenders, etc.) use a vertical motion, up and down. This technique will increase the way light attracts and reflects off of Show Car Polish. The body lines and contours of your vehicle will seem to glow. This trick really works. Remember to use Z-6 "Gloss Enhancer" spray between every coat of Show Car Polish.

Anyway,
I have another question. Is the gloss enhancer spray worth it to get? And is their washing product worth getting.
If not I'll just order the Z5 polish and the EFX. But if I need the wash and also the spray I'll get that too.

On dark color cars I just think Z-5 does a better job than Z-2 in my opinion, I use Z-5 on my M5 and Z06 only, and most people that see my cars think they look good.

The Z-6 enhancer spray is probably what is used the most by most Zaino users. It enhances the shine, removes static, makes the surface very click and is great for in between washes.

The Z-7 wash actually has a small amount of polish in it to help enhance the shine every timje you wash.

They are worth it.

I have probably used Z-2 on my own cars maybe 3 times in the last 3 years, I use Z-5, to me it's easier to work with and I have 4 dark color cars, if I had light color cars I would use Z-2 most likely, with ZFX each time.
