Post Another Zaino ?

Well this seems to be the Zaino forum..so I have a Zaino question. I have some Z1,Z2 and Z5 on order. I've had excellent results with other systems but want to give Zaino a try.

My question is do you REALLY need Z6 and Zaino car wash to make this system work?

Technically, no you don't HAVE to use Z6 or Z7 for the other Zaino products to work. However, if I had to choose either Z6 or Z7, I'd buy the Z7 wash. I think it's very worthwhile to restoring the Zaino shine after every wash and it works very well with the polishes. Z6 is great for quick touch ups to remove light dust or in between coats of polish for easier application. They're both made to compliment the system and really help bring out the shine. If push came to shove, I could theoretically live without Z6 for a while, but I love washing with Z7!

You can use other car wash soaps, like Meguiar's, with Zaino without negative effects, BUT, I would NOT recommend using any other quick detailer product with Zaino. Most quick detailer sprays simply aren't compatable with Zaino due to their ingredients. To me, quick detailing isn't abslutely necessary, but washing IS. that's why I'd choose at least Z7. Of course, I happily use both...

The wash is great, it even helps maintain the shine. The enhancer spray is what is used the most by most Zainoholics. It makes the surface slicker, shinier and removes the static. Not using them, isn't giving you the most benefit of the Zaino system that you can be getting.

Z28,
Really don't cut yourself short. You have to wash you car anyway and the Z-6 really brings up the shine and is great for in between.

No.. I don't want to cut myself short..and if Zaino turns out to be as good as I hear, I plan on ordering Z6 and Z7, but...
... I have a couple of gallons of another brand car wash and a couple of gallons of detailer. I just prefer not to waste it all if possible.

As long as the wash and the detailer has no additives, silicons, waxes or anything else in OK. Otherwise any time you want to add a coat of Zaino you'll need to use Dawn to wash all of it off. The Dawn WON'T affect the Zaino though.
