WOW!!!! I just used the asorber to dry up my car today and it was awesome. All i had used before was chamois, the real leather kind and the fake kind. I got the idea to use the absorber on the message board and i must say it is like 100 times better than both kinds of chamois. If your still using chamois then stop!!! and go pick up an absorber....u wont be sorry.

I've used both, and currently have a few MF waffle towels. I'll use these from now on. Takes 2 to dry though.

Question O.K. - I've been reading about this and am confused.

I bought a Wal Mart synthetic chamois - I did not see a name on it anywhere.

At any rate, it does O.K. - I just have to folow up behind it w/ a towel.

I assume this is the same style item as you are talking about here - if so, how many uses does it take 'til it gets all the water off ?

Not that it has been "bad" so far for $4.99.

Thanks !

Britt

I use the Absorber to get a majority of the water off then follow up with a 100% cotton towel. I've done it for years.

I use the absorber on my car and I love it (black Z)

About the streaking:

-When I use water out of an unsoftened spicket, I get streaks
-When I use softened water (spicket in the garage) I get no streaks at all. (As long as the sun isnt out)

I use an Absorber for my truck (the TA never gets wet).

Just make sure you don't "wipe" with it, you lay it out flat and "pat".

Works great like that
