91 hr extreme detail - EXTREMELY pic heavy 280+ you've been warned

Since there is a 10 pic limit here, I thought I'd link this to the detail forum I have it posted on for easier viewing.

Please beware there are over 280 high res pics of this Trans Am, so it will take a while to load.

I'd love to here any comments or questions. Thanks!

Wow, that's one hell of a transformation. I couldn't imagine putting 91 hours worth of work into detailing a single car. How much did you charge for that detail? (PM me if you don't want to say in public.) The only reason I ask is that 91 hours at even $60/hr is $5460 dollars. I know that labor charges are reaching even higher than that these days.

I'm stunned. I can't believe you took a POS and made it into a piece of art. I wanna know how much you charged as well. My back hurts just imagining you doing this stuff. I hate waxing.

POS is stressing it. It wasn't until he started doing the close ups that things really started getting cringe worthy.

Hell while I was car shopping a couple months ago we saw so many cars that were just god awfully taken care of that I figured I would have to get something like that done to even be willing to show the car off.

The SS I looked at was missing it's muffler(cause it looked like someone cut it off with a blowtorch) had a long crack along the dash, the panels weren't lined up correctly, and there were about three things that appeared to be missing from the dash including the shifter **** was missing.

Fortunately we found the car we did in almost immaculate condition. (I'll have to look closer to see if it has all those micro scratches and circle patterns but so far just one scratch on the right sidemirror casing(or whatever you call it).

But still great work on the restoration. I'm curious to know how much change you found in there.

That was some top notch detailing, you have a good eye for detailing, and good patience as well. Excellent Job I would of never guessed that the car had potential.

wow, I thought I did everything I could when I wetsanded the car with 3k paper, than heavy duty compound, med. compound, polish, etc. I spent 35hrs detailing it total, but **** you really went over the top.

Very good ending results. Nice work.

WOW that was amazing. I can't fathom what could have caused so many scratches in the beginning and how much effort it took to remove em

Congratulations! That is one amazing detail job, I cant believe the paint was even save-able. I really thought that thing needed to get a total paint job.

That was just incredible...where did you learn how to do all of that? How can I learn how to do all of that? My car is getting kind of beat, and doing something like this would give it new life I think.
