Question 3m Clear skin guard/bra

Anyone know anything about this? It is some kind of clear skin that you put on the nose of the car to protect the paint. A friend explained a little about it, but he wasn't really sure on the details.

My car is getting some body/paint work done right now, and I would like to look into this (the front is getting repainted). The body shop didn't really know what I was talking about when I inquired about it.

1. Is this something a body shop would have to install (ie - window tint)

2. Any idea how much it costs?

TIA!
Ryan

Here's a website where you can buy them. They have different sets you can buy depending on how much of your car you want protected. Also, if you scroll down they have a "Frequently asked questions" which will probably tell you what you need to know. It sounds pretty cool-it should last 7 years, will not cause the paint underneath to fade, once on the car it is very hard to notice (99.5% clear). Anyways, here's the link
