1995 Camaro Z28 Convertible (Pics)
It has been quite some time since I've had this car out and about. It has recently been sitting inside and was covered in dust. I haven't driven it in over 5 months.
Anyway, nothing special in regards to the detail. I've posted these on a few other boards and thought I would post it here too.
It was purchased in September of 1994 at Dan Young Chevrolet in Indianapolis. My dad ordered it for his "Midlife crisis" birthday. It now resides at my families house. My daughter got her first ride in it yesterday.
I learned to drive in this car and my wife and I drove it away from our wedding reception.
It isn't a "classic" in the normal sense of 60's muscle cars, but it represents something very special to me.
As it sits she has 40,051 miles on the clock - so it isn't necessarily a garage queen in the typical sense of "buy it and park it".
Thank you for looking.
1. Nice weather in Indy.
2. A few bolt-on modifications.
3. Dynoed 273hp and 320 lb/ft at the wheels a few years back.
4. Still riding on 245/50ZR16 Goodyear Eagle GSC tires.
5. Medium Patriot Red Metallic is hard to find touch up paint for. But she is holding up fine.
6. The leather has held up quite nicely. Lost of Lexol conditioner has been used over the years.
7. Pulling away from our wedding October 11, 2008

Looks awesome! Good to see another original owner who still has their car!
My mom bought the 35th LE new. My mom and dad bought the '95 Z28 in June '95 on my birthday for my sister, even though she was only ~13 at the time and I was ~11.
Your car is a lingenfelter? Guess what? If you can find the documentation of what Lingenfelter did to the car, I might make your car one of the feature cars on my site for the future Lingenfelter section!
