wtb: t-top conversion
i have the driver and passenger side t-tops you will need for your conversion. they have the weatherstripping on them... but you'll have to buy the weatherstripping that attaches to the roof and the new headliner. i believe that's all you need minus a good bit of cutting and welding. let me know if you're interested in them. asking $300 plus shipping... negotiable. t-tops are in excellent condition.

you do need the pieces for the t-tops to attach, my mistake, i forgot about that one. on the other hand, depending on where you go, you may not need the t-bar. there's a place in town here that uses the hard top to create the t-top conversion. i don't do t-top conversions, so i don't know everything about them, i just sell t-tops
$300 plus shipping, still negotiable

FYI: No welding required
Needed:
T-tops
Weatherstripping
Interior pieces (2 a-pillars and 2 corner pieces)
Brackets they slide into (in the corners)
Center retainer (part on top of t-bar they slide into)
Headliner ($120 new plus shipping from GM parts direct)
That's it. I was the first to do it (did it at a junkyard first), walked another guy through it via e-mail and he posted the pics of the install on his white Trans-Am. I am doing it again on my new Red 98 Z.
If you need parts other than the headliner and t-tops e-mail me. My local junkyard has three t-top 4th gens. I'll pull the parts you just pay what they charge plus shipping.
Good luck!

awesome... i didn't know you could do a t-top conversion without welding. so it looks like you don't need a kit, you just need the parts... and i still have the t-tops for sale if you want them. $300 plus shipping is the asking price, but i'm willing to negotiate if that's too much for you... i'm trying to get these things out of my garage man. they're in great shape. if you're interested, i'll even go get them and describe any little flaws they have. let me know.
