WTB: SuperRam for LT1 Super Ram for LT1

I am looking to buy a SuperRam for an LT1. It's going in my Corvette. Figured I might have some luck over here since there have been a few for sale in the past

You must like vacuum leaks huh? lol Just giving you a poke- I put one in a Impala SS and it was great with the longer runner length. Really moved that heavy car!. The rare part is the lower manifold, the rest is all std. Super Ram/TPI stuff. You could even do a TPI set-up which has even longer runners. I had to do a little modification to the throttle cable bracket and I put a breather filter in the distributor hole since there was room for it.

What are you running on your car now, with the 409? Did you weld up the TPI base and redrill it? What about the coolant passages, just leave 'em open or weld them up?
Lingenfelter ported my LT1 heads, replaced the guides and installed bigger valves. I asked if I should send my intake in to be ported or buy a SuperRam and the rep. said to buy a SuperRam if I could find one. I'm going by what was suggested to me. I figured they ought to know since John helped design it. Maybe that had a factor in it. He could have told me to send in my intake and took my money. I need .26 to get in the 11's with my 350 before I grenade it or stroke it. Track will be open in a couple months.

I have a TPIS LT-1 Mini-Ram. It made 18 more HP over the factory LT1 manifold I "massaged" a little. For a Corvette, I would definately NOT use a SuperRam. You don't have a "heavy" car so the added lower RPM torque wouldn't really be needed since you wouldn't be able to put it to the pavement. The shorter runner LT1 manifold is excellent and gives a very broad powerband with plenty of torque everywhere. The Edelbrock manifold has been horrible on the three engines I've seen it tested on. It's hard to beat the factory manifold in most cases.

Thanks for the input. I'm just at my wits end trying to figure why my E.T didn't change, 60 ft, 1/8, gained about .8 miles per hour in the 1/4. With 1.6 60ft. It was a bit humid. I've got a .528/.536 218/224 108CL and 112 LSA. Think my old cam doesn't like the new heads?

I have some TrickFlow Twisted Wedge cylinder heads for a Gen 1 smallblock I would be willing to trade. These heads are the original 180cc from them. They are fresh from the machine shop with new springs good to .500 lift, valve job and resurfacing. The combustion chamber size was 63cc's from the factory. I had very little time on these, under 5000 miles and about 10 passes, they were sitting around for about 10 years and decided to part the car out after a tree fell on it.
