Looking to buy the housing that is on the driver side of the shifter rectangle hole... held on by one or two small bolts.

I don't need the solenoid, just the housing - OR I could swap my housing with yours, but mine has been drilled out (previous owner) and a larger threaded plug was put there... I want my reverse lockout to work again, so I need a new housing...

How soon do you need it? I'll be taking it off my 70 project, but it will be a couple more months..

 

Hmmn, can I answer that with a question.. are you taking it off, because you don't want it ?

MY tranny was rebuilt and the previous owner drilled out the housing, installed a threaded metal plug and that's why the solenoid I just bought wont' thread into it... SO IF you don't want yours..I can send you my housing with the metal plug, in exchange for yours...I don't need the solenoid, just the housing.

I am currently driving my Camaro without the solenoid and the housing/metal plug... would that be something you'd entertain - not sure I can wait 2 months or so...
