WTB:M6 T/a or z28 under $10k

I guess this is more of a question, unless someone has one. How hard would it be for me to find a m6 z28-t/a for under 10k with low miles and stock? Ive loved lt1s for a long time, id prefere an ls1 but i dont think i can afford it. I checked auto trader and it seems like people want 10k for modded lt1s with high miles that are close to 8 years old! I know the f body is discontiued but those prices are too high. So how much should ibe lookin to spend for a good m6 lt1? Thx

Mine was $8k. Fairly pristene, 53k miles, M6, Patriot Red with Black interior, only mods: B&M Ripper, Wolfe Racecraft SFCs, and SLP CAI.

That would be ideal for me.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding an LT1 z28 for 10K. You can probably find an LS1 for that price too but it probably wouldn't be as nice as the LT1 camaro though.

Like the other dude said, you won't have any problems finding a nice one for that price. Normaly I wouldn't even buy one with those light mods, but I bought it from a good friend of mine and knew that it was a good runner and it had been raced but not abused. Either way, for $10k I would expect it to say SS or WS6 on the back.

I'm somewhat close to your price range..........and a newer car.

Selling my 2000 Trans Am, Black, M6, 87K, WS6 hood (you can have the stock hood too), WS6 badge (yes, I'm a poser), T-tops (with shades), Chrome Z06 wheels (18's on back, 17's on front), Ebony leather, Hurst shifter, K&N, Tinted windows, Monsoon CD, Every option except disc changer. Car is VERY clean, runs and drives PERFECT. Will need tires soon. Car is all stock. Chrome dual/dual tips. Maintained religiously with Mobil 1 synthetic. New brakes. $13,500 OBO. Never been to the track or dynoed. Wife drives it most of the time. Looks like a 20K mile car inside and out.

No dings, or dents, but does have a couple small scratches (nothing major, you have to be right on top of it to see them)

Just don't rush, look around. I could have bought a few for the money I had but I waited and ended up finding what I drive now (95 Firehawk with 45k - flawless) for $8,500.
