WTB Differential or Rear End

Blew up the differential, need to fix it. I am looking for a replacemnt differential or a brand new rear. Its a 99 6 speed with 3.42's.

Thanks,

Re: WTB Differential or Rear End

Hi,

I have ring and pinion gears out of a '99 SS Camaro, but I've already sold the posi. They're 3.42's, so if they'll help you out at all, I could sell you those. Also, I have the whole set up out of a '95 Camaro that I just pulled apart. It looks like an aftermarket posi. I think it's Eaton, but I need to pull some numbers off of it and make sure. I just got it apart today...

If you're still looking, and any of this will help you out, just make me an offer on what you need. I don't have the housings because they're ridiculously expensive to ship, but it doesn't sound like you need it anyway.

Thanks,

Eric

I have a 3.42 rear from a 3 channel ABS car. You would want to swap your axles out as the 97-02 axles have a smaller center hub; the old axles will not let the wheel go all the way on.

I'd take $225 for it and I could meet you in St Louis with it.
