I still dont know if I could handle that right now, even though I should go with one of your engines now and it would probably las alot longer than any engine I'm going to cheap out on right now. but if I get a good shortblock now and it last me a couple summers then i wont complain, my next engine will be a definate stroker, with aftermarket heads, and a victor style intake but I gotta pay off some bills first. thanks though

pms sent on other offers, thanks,

Just curious?? Do you just have to much time, or am I missing something? Over on the For Sale thread you say you are broke and trying to sell parts of a 383, and here you say you are looking for one????

Re: wtb complete balanced 355 or 383 Lt1 Shortblock

I have a freshly machined 2 piece rearmain ( old style block) 4 bolt main shortblock, nodular iron 3.75" crank, with lt1 rods, and power house pistons. along with some other stuff that goes with it I was building this engine for my 72 nova which I also had listed. I had no idea I would spin a bearing in my camaro now it takes higher priority than the nova so I'm trying to sell some of that stuff to help pay for a shortblock for the camaro. I have enough money to buy a good strong used shortblock or a new economy style short block but if I sell some of that stuff before I find an engine I will buy a better shortblock with more forged parts in it.

Curious? Would you be interested in fixing what you have? I can give you the name of the person who does my race NHRA stocker motors who is in your part of the world.

i have a eagle 383 rotating assy. it's 4340 crank,h-beam 6.00 rods and srp flattops. this assy. is balanced and is used with about 1000 street miles. this cost me $1900 to the door balanced. the only down fall is it's a 2 pc. seal crank but i thought you could get a adapter to make it work. i want $900.00 shipped.
