WTB: Clutch release bearing t-56
WTB: Clutch release bearing t-56
I really REALLY need a clutch release bearing (throw-out bearing) for a 95 z28 t56 with an lt-4 clutch.
The clutch is almost brand new, but 2 of the 3 clips broke off the original bearing. I found one for 120 bucks from gmpartsdirect, but this seems a little steep to me. I am hoping to find one that is either new or in excellent shape.
thanks for looking James
(p.s. im in the 53182 zip code)

I was having the same problem with finding one. I did a little research and found that the clutch from a 3.8L or 3.4L camaro has the same size inputshaft as the LT1..I ordered a throw out bearing from summit for a centerforce clutch..It was only $35...if it works i got a cheap new throw out bearing and if it don't then oh well...lol...I will let you know when i receive it and if it works...
Look up a dual friction clutch for a 3.4/3.8 and look at the PN and then look up a DF clutch for the LT1..same numbers...funny they dont tell you that you can buy the same bearing...a while ago i called centerforce and they tried to sell me a pressureplate with throwout bearing and said it could not be changed...even after i had changed mine out with an ac delco..
