Hey all, 2 months ago, one of my 95 z28's were hit by a drunk driver, and he was an "illegal alien", had no insurance, no ANYTHING! My insurance company wouldnt cover anything on it, so I am stuck holding the ball on this one. It was hit on the front passenger side and it messed up the front bumper, hood, passenger side fender, and it cracked the drivers side fender... It also moved the strut tower like 3 inches inward! (what a mess)... ANYWAY, I need to get my hands on a hood for her, I dont care if its stock, fiberglass, made of glass, WHATEVER that works, lol. I dont have a whole lot of money at this time, so its not like I can go out and get a new fiberglass one! Please help me find one! It would have to be shipped to my family's dealership that is doing the body work, and thats near phialdelphia. Thanks in advance!!

 

Not to rain on your parade, but if your strut tower was moved in 3 inches. Your car is totaled! It will cost you more than it's worth to fix and will never drive right agian.

Even if the guy who hit your car was uninsured and an illegal. If you were smart and got a police report your insurance has to pay for it under your uninsured coverage. In most states you have to have this even with just liability coverage. Might want to ask an insurance lawyer.

 

definately, my insurance tried to pull that bullsh*t with me...i wasnt in the car, i was walking out to it from a nightclub...watched this moron from the bar across the road smash into it....he fled....got 3 blocks rolled his car. He had a suspended license, no insurance, and he was drunk. Took my insurance company to small claims court, they had to pay the court fees and the $3100 in damages, and it wasnt even mechanical damages it was all cosmetic where my fender, bumper, and hood all met in the passenger side corner.
